Maddie and Bret's session was a perfect match for the early summer day we met up to tell their story. They spent the early morning sipping coffees from one of their favorite local coffee shops and strolling in the park reminiscing over the last few years together. We spent this time talking about how their days play out, their favorite date nights, their goals in this life together, and plans for their wedding day. The entire afternoon felt like a movie, but my favorite part was when we met back up later that night when they invited me into their home for an intimate continuation of their session. They drank wine, played games, ate pizza, and slow danced with their cat in the living room while the records spun. It felt as if they were the only two to exist for the night, and I was lucky enough to document it. The whole session felt like a movie playing in front of me. It was the perfect glimpse into their relationship: down-to-earth, warm, and full of love. A storytelling session I will never stop dreaming of.
